Mission Statement

Salad Cosmo Corporation began in Japan in 1945 by Toshio Nakada and was introduced to the United States in 1998 by Masa Nakada. This business strives to incorporate family traditions while providing the highest quality product backed by the integrity of the highest technology available today.

Sprouts (of any kind) are well known as an excellent source of nutrition and a compliment to foods such as stir-fry and salad. However much of the population in the United States are not aware of the many advantages of sprouts, and therefore they are not consumed in large quantities. It is Salad Cosmo's goal to provide and introduce a quality product to the American kitchen that is both healthy and nutritious while educating the average consumer on the benefits of our products. It is also our goal to constantly grow and introduce additional products as we learn what our consumers prefer.

Salad Cosmo currently collaborates with professionals from all over the world to constantly improve the quality of our products and make sure that our bacterial testing is utilizing the highest technologies available.  

GMO'S

We do not use any Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO's) or Genetically Engineered Organisms (GEO's).

Environmentally Friendly

Salad Cosmo U.S.A. Corp continually strives to be more and more environmentally friendly.  A lot of our packaging is able to be recycled and the sprouts that are returned or are a waste product are composted and incorporated in our fields.  Our waste water, which is used to irrigate Alfalfa fields on our land, is reused once it re-charges the aquifer below.  Our waste water is tested daily, weekly, and monthly to ensure that the water we release meets the State of California requirements.

If there ever was a question regarding the quality of our sprouts, our extensive record keeping system enables us to quickly trace each bag of product through the production and growing phases at our facility all the way to the store of purchase.
